Usually winter here on the Coast is boring and uneventful, but not this year: at least, not for me. There has been so much going on in the writing world that I’m feeling a little overwhelmed.
I wrote two short plays for story theatre–actually three, but I’m only going to focus on the two shortest ones. The first one is an adaptation from an Aesop fable, ‘The Ant and the Grasshopper’; the second one is my own creation, ‘The Laborer’s Plea’. ‘The Laborer’s Plea’ is set in medieval Europe.
Later this morning, I’m going to present Bob these two stories and he’s going to give me some feedback. In the meantime, I’ll be going through ‘To be Maria’–yet again–doing a light copy edit.
And that–so far–is my newsflash for this month.
